Eric Patterson to speak at TedXMSU

TEDxMSU is a student-run organization committed to building community through sharing inspiration. The conference features multidisciplinary talks with the purpose of promoting inquiry and critical discussion.
Eric says he was inspired by the theme: Inversion: "I have had the chance to reflect on my own scientific journey and how my perspective on weeds has inverted: I once thought of weeds as undesirable things to now respecting them as a valuable subject of study in terms of what they can teach us about evolution and resilience. My talk will be about the benefits of using scientific curiosity in your day to day life and how being a curious person in general makes a person more interesting, more shrewd, and more grounded.
