Bowser Family Farms Pasture Walk

Join us for a Pasture Walk on
August 22nd, 2024

Bowser Family Farms has seen many changes over the last five years with the focus shifting to holistic management practices and intensive grazing. What used to be a conventional corn and soybean operation, is now home to 40 cow/calf pairs and 30 feeder cattle, sold directly to the consumer for freezer beef. Our goal is to transition our feeder cattle from grain finish to grass finish. We recently added pastured pork to the operation and sell direct to the consumer as well. The farm is surrounded by 100 acres of pasture and 150 acres of crop land that is integrated with livestock. We are currently working with the NRCS on several improvement projects, that will support our goal in creating a healthy ecosystem and efficient production.
