Decreasing Stress with Mindfulness - Tuesday, January 14 at 6 p.m. EST

  • In this session, we will learn how stressors can affect our physical and mental health and then practice mindfulness techniques that can be used in everyday life.

Medical Insurance - Monday, February 10 at 5:30 p.m. EST

  • Are you confused about how medical insurance works? Have you ever wondered what a deductible is...what the difference is between an HMO and PPO plan...and why knowing your out-of-pocket maximum is important? Understanding medical insurance can be tricky! Join this session to learn the basics.

Get it Together:  Time and Organization Tips to Thrive - Monday, March 3 at 7 p.m. EST

  • Join us for a fun 4-H Adulting 101 session about mastering organization and time management!  Learn practical tips to tackle schedules, beat procrastination, and organize everything from schoolwork to living spaces.  From bullet journals to digital tools, we'll explore methods to help you balance life's demands with confidence and efficiency.  Make adulting easier (and even fun!)-let's get organized together!

Wealth Building - Tuesday, April 8 at 5 p.m. EST

  • Learn the essentials of saving and investing to grow your financial future. From creating a savings plan and exploring various products to understanding different investment options and evaluating risks, this course equips you with practical tools for smart financial decisions. Plus, gain insights into setting financial goals and finding the right financial advisor to guide you along the way. 

Stay Safe Out There - Thursday, May 15 at 6 p.m. EST

  • Join us for a 4-H Adulting 101 session on personal safety in all settings-from hiking trails and public parks to bustling cities and college campuses.   We will cover practical strategies to help you stay aware, prepared, and confident no matter where you go.  Learn tips for situational awareness, staying connected, and handling emergencies.   Empower yourself with the knowledge and tools you need to feel secure in any environment.  Stay safe out there and let's learn how to do it together!

International Travel on a Budget - Monday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m. EST

  • Anticipating future travel plans abroad? Tap into strategies for international traveling on a budget to ensure you reach your next destination overseas. 

Mastering Meal Planning - Wednesday, July 9 at 4 p.m. EST

  • What is better:  store brand or name brand?  How do you get fruits and vegetables for less money?  In this class you will learn how to eat healthy on a budget and stretch your food dollars.  This includes learning how to cook once and eat twice, how to make a meal plan that will save you money at the store, and other great tips!

Navigating Life:  Addressing and Handling Peer Pressure - Monday, August 18 at 6 p.m. EST

  • Participants will engage in an interactive presentation that explores the reality of peer pressure and ways to identify, process, and overcome it, to ensure healthy decision making and positive self-confidence.  Participants will walk away with feasible techniques to advocate for themselves and friends when placed within moments that may provoke discomfort.

Professionalism:  Communicate, Dress and Deliver with Confidence - Wednesday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m. EST

  • Set yourself up for success by mastering the key elements of professionalism in this 4-H Adulting 101 session!  We'll cover the essentials for thriving in any professional environment-from effective verbal and written communication to dressing the part and following through on commitments.  Learn tips on creating a positive impression, building trust and showing character in every interaction.

Enjoy your Holidays on a Budget - Thursday, October 23 at 5 p.m. EST

  • Make memories, not debt, this holiday season! We'll explore the benefits of a holiday spending plan, how to prioritize needs vs. wants, and set a comfortable budget—plus, you'll get creative money-saving tips for a joyful and affordable celebration. 

Navigating Tough Talks:  Conflict Resolution & Civil Discourse - Thursday, November 13 at 6:30 p.m. EST

  • Learning how to manage disagreements with respect and open-mindedness is an important part of adulthood.  In this workshop, youth will gain essential tools for navigating tough conversations, whether with friends, family or classmates.  Participants will leave with strategies to approach conflict confidently, express themselves respectfully and find common ground with others.  Youth will find ways to handle challenging discussions with patience and empathy, paving the way for stronger, healthier relationships.


All sessions will take place on Zoom and will last approximately an hour. Your registration receipt will contain the zoom information. Please do not share as space is limited.
