“Definition: Mononchidae. Dorsal tooth in anterior part of stoma, powerful, pointing forwards. Subventral teeth absent but an untoothed ventral, opposing ridge may be present. Stoma walls parallel, base of stoma usually pointed. Oesophago-intestinal junction non-tuberculate.
