                        Genus Cephalobus

"Body length between 0.4 and 0.9 mm. Lateral field with three to five incisures, reaching tail tip. Three to five lateral lines present. Labial probolae small, their shape exceptionally variable: low-rounded, appearing as three rounded lips, or conical, or bicornuate. Female tail subcylindrical or conoid, tip rounded with or without mucro. Male tail usually with mucro." Bert and Borgonie, 2006
