Join the Michigan Local Food Council Network for our monthly phone/video conference, featuring topics and speakers relevant to the work of councils across the state. We will share federal and state legislative updates and include time to discuss offers, requests and connections among councils.
This month, Payge Solidago from National Young Farmers Coalition will share more on the federal Increasing Land Access, Security and Opportunities Act. Mary Judnich, with Senator Stabenow’s office, will also join the meeting to provide a brief update on the Farm Bill (Rural Prosperity and Food Security Act) introduced by the Senate Agriculture Committee last week
